Because this code is executed before the application **starts** taking requests, and right after it **finishes** handling requests, it covers the whole application **lifespan** (the word "lifespan" will be important in a second 😉).

    * And then they need to be **renewed**, **acquired again** from the third party.
* The encryption of the connection happens at the **TCP level**.
    * That's one layer **below HTTP**.
    * So, the **certificate and encryption** handling is done **before HTTP**.
* **TCP doesn't know about "domains"**. Only about IP addresses.

## Mounting a **FastAPI** application { #mounting-a-fastapi-application }

"Mounting" means adding a completely "independent" application in a specific path, that then takes care of handling everything under that path, with the _path operations_ declared in that sub-application.

### Top-level application { #top-level-application }

First, create the main, top-level, **FastAPI** application, and its *path operations*:

Please, provide a detailed explanation of the issue. In particular, outline the type of the security

 *  Fix: Enforce that callers call `WebSocket.close()` on IO errors. Error
    handling in WebSockets is significantly improved.
 *  Fix: Don't use SPDY/3 style header concatenation for HTTP/2 request headers.
    This could have corrupted requests where multiple headers had the same name,
    as in cookies.
