APIが必要とするもう一つの大きな機能はデータのバリデーションであり、特定のパラメータが与えられた場合にデータが有効であることを確認することです。例えば、あるフィールドがランダムな文字列ではなく `int` であることなどです。これは特に受信するデータに対して便利です。

データバリデーションの仕組みがなければ、すべてのチェックを手作業でコードに実装しなければなりません。
