## 1.15 What’s New

Kubernetes 1.15 consists of **25 enhancements**: 2 moving to stable, 13 in beta, and 10 in alpha. The main themes of this release are:

#### Continuous Improvement

- Server-side apply behavior has been regularized in the case where a field is removed from the applied configuration. Removed fields which have no other owners are deleted from the live object, or reset to their default value if they have one. Safe ownership transfers, such as the transfer of a `replicas` field from a user to an HPA without resetting to the default value are documented in [Transferring Ownership](https://kubernet...

There will be three items in the task list for this dataset.

The stubs also exist at different "levels", where one test might wire stubs into a specific live implementation.
In the next test that same "live implementation" will be used in a stub version instead.

Not all live services have stubs, but can be added as needed.
