CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG-1.22.md
### Kubernetes release cadence change We all have to adapt to change in our lives, and especially so in the past year. The Kubernetes release team was also affected from the COVID-19 pandemic and has listened to its user base regarding the number of releases in a calendar year. From April 23, 2021 it was made official that Kubernetes release cadence has reduced from 4 releases per year to 3 releases per year.

--- title: "Go, Backwards Compatibility, and GODEBUG" layout: article --- <!-- This document is kept in the Go repo, not x/website, because it documents the full list of known GODEBUG settings, which are tied to a specific release. --> ## Introduction {#intro} Go's emphasis on backwards compatibility is one of its key strengths. There are, however, times when we cannot maintain complete compatibility.

docs/hotfixes.md
Customers in MinIO are allowed LTS on any release they choose to standardize. Production setups seldom change and require maintenance. Hotfix branches are such maintenance branches that allow customers to operate a production cluster without drastic changes to their deployment. ## Backporting a fix Developer is advised to clone the MinIO source and checkout the MinIO release tag customer is currently on. ```
