In your production system, you probably have a frontend created with a modern framework like React, Vue.js or Angular.

And to communicate using WebSockets with your backend you would probably use your frontend's utilities.

Or you might have a native mobile application that communicates with your WebSocket backend directly, in native code.

Or you might have any other way to communicate with the WebSocket endpoint.

We have a lifecycle mapping for the packaging of *jar* below. You see that for this packaging we have a *default* lifecycle and a list of phases where each phase is a comma separated list of goals to run and they are in the form groupId:artifactId:version.

    Our workaround is to tell GWT that util.concurrent and all other packages
    have prod supersource, even if they have none. GWT is happy to ignore us
    when we specify a nonexistent path.

    (I hope that this workaround does not cause its own problems in the future.)
