# Recipes

We've written some recipes that demonstrate how to solve common problems with OkHttp. Read through them to learn about how everything works together. Cut-and-paste these examples freely; that's what they're for.

### Synchronous Get ([.kt][SynchronousGetKotlin], [.java][SynchronousGetJava])

Download a file, print its headers, and print its response body as a string.

 * sometimes much less. For example, on a large enough dataset, computing the 90th and 99th

A Go <i>program execution</i> is modeled as a set of goroutine executions,
together with a mapping <i>W</i> that specifies the write-like operation that each read-like operation reads from.
(Multiple executions of the same program can have different program executions.)

<h2 id="Packages">Packages</h2>

<p>
Go programs are constructed by linking together <i>packages</i>.
A package in turn is constructed from one or more source files
that together declare constants, types, variables and functions
belonging to the package and which are accessible in all files
of the same package. Those elements may be

<p>
There may be one or two arguments to the directives.
If there are two, the first is a bit mask of flags,
which can be written as numeric expressions, added or or-ed together,
or can be set symbolically for easier absorption by a human.
Their values, defined in the standard <code>#include</code>  file <code>textflag.h</code>, are:
