### Fonction personnalisée de génération d’ID unique { #custom-generate-unique-id-function }

FastAPI utilise un **ID unique** pour chaque *chemin d'accès*, qui est utilisé pour l’**operation ID** et également pour les noms des modèles personnalisés nécessaires, pour les requêtes ou les réponses.

Vous pouvez personnaliser cette fonction. Elle prend un `APIRoute` et retourne une chaîne.

Because we are using a relative URL, if your API was located at `https://example.com/`, then it would refer to `https://example.com/token`. But if your API was located at `https://example.com/api/v1/`, then it would refer to `https://example.com/api/v1/token`.

FastAPI will use this return type to:

* **Validate** the returned data.
    * If the data is invalid (e.g. you are missing a field), it means that *your* app code is broken, not returning what it should, and it will return a server error instead of returning incorrect data. This way you and your clients can be certain that they will receive the data and the data shape expected.
* Add a **JSON Schema** for the response, in the OpenAPI *path operation*.

### Install requirements

Create a virtual environment and install the required packages with [`uv`](https://github.com/astral-sh/uv):

It will install all the dependencies and your local FastAPI in your local environment.

### Using your local FastAPI

As your FastAPI `app` object lives in `app/main.py`, you can configure the `entrypoint` in your `pyproject.toml` file like this:

[tool.fastapi]
entrypoint = "app.main:app"
```

that is equivalent to importing like:

```python
from app.main import app
```

That way the `fastapi` command will know where to find your app.
