## Get started

In this document we will explain in detail on how to configure all the prerequisites.

### Prerequisites

The details for the deployment & installation of this plugin were pretty much lifted directly from the
[Calico CNI plugin](https://github.com/projectcalico/cni-plugin).

Specifically:

- The CNI installation script is containerized and deployed as a daemonset in k8s.  The relevant calico k8s manifests were used as the model for the istio-cni plugin's manifest:

### Features

- Objects matching these prefixes will behave as though versioning were suspended. These objects **will not** be replicated if bucket has replication configured.

### Example

Use MockWebServer the same way that you use mocking frameworks like
[Mockito](https://github.com/mockito/mockito):

1. Script the mocks.
2. Run application code.
3. Verify that the expected requests were made.

Here's a complete example:

This topic provides commands to set up different configurations of hosts, nodes, and drives. The examples provided here can be used as a starting point for other configurations.

Let's take for example a set of 12 compute nodes with an aggregate memory of _1.2TiB_, we need to do following settings for optimal results. Add the following optimal entries for _core-site.xml_ to configure _s3a_ with **MinIO**. Most important options here are

[schema](pkg/apis/istio/v1alpha1/values_types.proto)). Values.yaml settings
are overridden the same way as the new API, though a customized CR overlaid over default values for the selected
profile. Here's an example of overriding some global level default values ([samples/values-global.yaml](samples/values-global.yaml)):

### Installing certificates from third party CAs

## 1. Prerequisites

* Familiarity with [Docker Compose](https://docs.docker.com/compose/overview/).
* Docker installed on your machine. Download the relevant installer from [here](https://www.docker.com/community-edition#/download).

## 2. Run Distributed MinIO on Docker Compose

(we highly recommend to name this branch without prefix and hyphen (`-`) because it's used to generate build type ID) and want to
test these changes without affecting `master`/`release` pipeline. Here are the instructions.
