Kubernetes manages stateless Spark and Hive containers elastically on the compute nodes. Spark has native scheduler integration with Kubernetes. Hive, for legacy reasons, uses YARN scheduler on top of Kubernetes.

        But declaring any other authentication challenge would be application-specific
        as it's not defined in the specification.

        For practical reasons, this method uses the `Bearer` challenge by default, as
        it's probably the most common one.

### Advantages of `Annotated` { #advantages-of-annotated }

**Using `Annotated` is recommended** instead of the default value in function parameters, it is **better** for multiple reasons. 🤓

The **default** value of the **function parameter** is the **actual default** value, that's more intuitive with Python in general. 😌
