### What is a Process { #what-is-a-process }

The word **process** is normally used in a more specific way, only referring to the thing that is running in the operating system (like in the last point above):

* A particular program while it is **running** on the operating system.

I have been avoiding the creation of a new framework for several years. First I tried to solve all the features covered by **FastAPI** using many different frameworks, plug-ins, and tools.

Templates, while typically come with a specific setup, are designed to be flexible and customizable. This allows you to modify and adapt them to your project's requirements, making them an excellent starting point. 🏁

You can use this template to get started, as it includes a lot of the initial set up, security, database and some API endpoints already done for you.

You can limit the lines used from the docstring of a *path operation function* for OpenAPI.

Adding an `\f` (an escaped "form feed" character) causes **FastAPI** to truncate the output used for OpenAPI at this point.

It won't show up in the documentation, but other tools (such as Sphinx) will be able to use the rest.

## API Overview

- `org.codelibs.curl.Curl`: entry point for HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, HEAD, OPTIONS, CONNECT, TRACE).
