- The `storageVersionHash` feature is now beta. `StorageVersionHash` is a field in the discovery document of each resource. It enables clients to detect whether the storage version of that resource has changed. Its value must be treated as opaque by clients. Only equality comparison on the value is valid. ### Kustomize Updates in Kubectl

[Kustomize](https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kustomize) version in kubectl had a jump from v2.0.3 to [v4.0.5](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/98946). Kustomize is now treated as a library and future updates will be less sporadic.
