Releasing
=========

### Prerequisite: Sonatype (Maven Central) Account

Create an account on the [Sonatype issues site][sonatype_issues]. Ask an existing publisher to open
an issue requesting publishing permissions for `com.squareup` projects.


Cutting a Release
-----------------

1. Update `CHANGELOG.md`.

2. Set versions:

    ```
    export RELEASE_VERSION=X.Y.Z
    export NEXT_VERSION=X.Y.Z-SNAPSHOT
    ```

  2. Adding the feature flag to the kubelet config:
     featureGates:
     `CSIMigrationRBD`: true

  As a Kubernetes cluster operator that administers storage, here are the prerequisites that you must complete before you attempt migration to the RBD CSI driver:

  * You must install the Ceph CSI driver (rbd.csi.ceph.com), v3.5.0 or above, into your Kubernetes cluster.
