**Only one process** in the server can be listening on a specific **port** in a specific **IP address**. There could be other processes listening on other ports in the same IP address, but only one for each combination of IP address and port. TLS (HTTPS) uses the specific port `443` by default. So that's the port we would need. As only one process can be listening on this port, the process that would do it would be the **TLS Termination Proxy**.

We are going to enforce that even though `q` is optional, whenever it is provided, **its length doesn't exceed 50 characters**. ### Import `Query` and `Annotated` { #import-query-and-annotated } To achieve that, first import: * `Query` from `fastapi` * `Annotated` from `typing` {* ../../docs_src/query_params_str_validations/tutorial002_an_py310.py hl[1,3] *} /// info

When things are great, everything is easier, so that doesn't need much instructions. But when things are difficult, here are some guidelines. Try to find the good side. In general, if people are not being unfriendly, try to thank their effort and interest, even if you disagree with the main subject (discussion, PR), just thank them for being interested in the project, or for having dedicated some time to try to do something.
