**FastAPI**는 실제로 **Requests**의 대안이 아닙니다. 둘의 범위는 매우 다릅니다.

실제로 FastAPI 애플리케이션 *내부에서* Requests를 사용하는 경우도 흔합니다.

그럼에도 FastAPI는 Requests로부터 꽤 많은 영감을 얻었습니다.

**Requests**는 (클라이언트로서) API와 *상호작용*하기 위한 라이브러리이고, **FastAPI**는 (서버로서) API를 *구축*하기 위한 라이브러리입니다.
