# OAuth2 scopes { #oauth2-scopes }

You can use OAuth2 scopes directly with **FastAPI**, they are integrated to work seamlessly.

This would allow you to have a more fine-grained permission system, following the OAuth2 standard, integrated into your OpenAPI application (and the API docs).

 - reach GA, and deprecate the beta, or
 - have a new beta version _(and deprecate the previous beta)_.

   * stripes, the intended concurrency level, and the typical number of keys used in a {@code
   * bulkGet(keys)} operation. See <a href="http://www.mathpages.com/home/kmath199.htm">Balls in
   * Bins model</a> for mathematical formulas that can be used to estimate the probability of
   * collisions.

### Short { #short }

It has sensible **defaults** for everything, with optional configurations everywhere. All the parameters can be fine-tuned to do what you need and to define the API you need.

But by default, it all **"just works"**.

### Validation { #validation }

* Validation for most (or all?) Python **data types**, including:

        SMB1SigningDigest verifyDigest = new SMB1SigningDigest(testMacSigningKey);

        // The code returns true on line 281 when signatures DON'T match
        boolean result = verifyDigest.verify(data, 0, data.length, 0, mockRequest);

        // The verification should succeed (return false) since we're using the same key

And you can use and implement secure, standard protocols, like OAuth2 in a relatively simple way.
