interface to track metrics and monitor HTTP requests' size and duration.
     * New: `okhttp-dnsoverhttps` is an experimental API for doing DNS queries over HTTPS. Using HTTPS
for DNS offers better security and potentially better performance. This feature is a preview:
the API is subject to change.
     * New: `okhttp-sse` is an early preview of Server-Sent Events (SSE). This feature is incomplete

  4. CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG-1.28.md

to its pre-1.27 behavior of tracking the total number of iptables rules that
kube-proxy is responsible for, rather than only counting the number of rules
that it re-synced on the last sync. The new `sync_proxy_rules_iptables_last`
metric now gives the latter number. ([#119140](https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/119140), [@danwinship](https://github.com/danwinship)) [SIG Network]

    ## HBONE

Along with pass-through traffic, Ztunnel supports the "HBONE" (HTTP-Based Overlay Network) protocol.
This is not really so much a new protocol, but rather a name we came up with to refer to the expectations of clients and servers communicating in the mesh.

HBONE is just a standard HTTP `CONNECT` tunnel, over mutual TLS with mesh (SPIFFE) certificates, on a well known port (15008).
