# `UploadFile` class

You can define *path operation function* parameters to be of the type `UploadFile` to receive files from the request.

You can import it directly from `fastapi`:

In this case, you can return the file path directly from your *path operation* function.

## Custom response class { #custom-response-class }

You can create your own custom response class, inheriting from `Response` and using it.
