## Cloud Scale Deployment

This document explains how to configure MinIO server with TLS certificates on Kubernetes.

## 1. Prerequisites

- Familiarity with [MinIO deployment process on Kubernetes](https://docs.min.io/community/minio-object-store/operations/deployments/kubernetes.html).

- Kubernetes cluster with `kubectl` configured.

create Deployment Beta resources after upgrading to 1.2. Not deleting the
Deployment objects may cause the deployment controller to mistakenly match
other pods and delete them, due to the selector API change.
     * Client (kubectl) and server versions must match (both 1.1 or both 1.2) for any
Deployment-related operations.
     * Behavior change:
        * Deployment creates ReplicaSets instead of ReplicationControllers.
