## Response Status Code

You can define the (HTTP) `status_code` to be used in the response of your *path operation*.

You can pass directly the `int` code, like `404`.

But if you don't remember what each number code is for, you can use the shortcut constants in `status`:

* Give you the received data in the parameter `item`.
    * As you declared it in the function to be of type `Item`, you will also have all the editor support (completion, etc) for all of the attributes and their types.
* Generate <a href="https://json-schema.org" class="external-link" target="_blank">JSON Schema</a> definitions for your model, you can also use them anywhere else you like if it makes sense for your project.

 * test with reference to the same "lock-like object", and then their interactions with that object
 * are choreographed via the various methods on this class.
