### Writing controllers

Istio provides a few helper libraries to get started writing a controller. While these libraries help, there are still a lot of subtleties in correctly writing (and testing!) a controller properly.

   * Indicates that the loading of Unsafe was successful and the load and store operations will be
   * very efficient. May be useful for calling code to fall back on an alternative implementation

         * repository never uses timestamps in the filename of a snapshot artifact. The discrepancy gets notable when a
         * remotely resolved snapshot artifact gets passed into pathOf(). So producing a proper local artifact path
         * using DefaultRepositoryLayout requires us to enforce usage of the artifact's base version. This

many common divisors the algorithm chooses the minimum amounts of erasure sets possible for a erasure set size of any N*.  In the example with 1024 drives - 4, 8, 16 are GCD factors. With 16 drives we get a total of 64 possible sets, with 8 drives we get a total of 128 possible sets, with 4 drives we get a total of 256 possible sets. So algorithm automatically chooses 64 sets, which is *16* 64 = 1024* drives in total.
