# Security Tools When you need to declare dependencies with OAuth2 scopes you use `Security()`. But you still need to define what is the dependable, the callable that you pass as a parameter to `Depends()` or `Security()`. There are multiple tools that you can use to create those dependables, and they get integrated into OpenAPI so they are shown in the automatic docs UI, they can be used by automatically generated clients and SDKs, etc.

docs/sts/README.md
- Temporary credentials do not need to be stored with the application but are generated dynamically and provided to the application when requested. When (or even before) the temporary credentials expire, the application can request new credentials. Following are advantages for using temporary credentials: - Eliminates the need to embed long-term credentials with an application.

docs/en/docs/tutorial/query-params-str-validations.md
``` So, when you need to declare a value as required while using `Query`, you can simply not declare a default value: {* ../../docs_src/query_params_str_validations/tutorial006_an_py39.py hl[9] *} ### Required, can be `None` { #required-can-be-none } You can declare that a parameter can accept `None`, but that it's still required. This would force clients to send a value, even if the value is `None`.Registered: Sun Dec 28 07:19:09 UTC 2025 - Last Modified: Sat Dec 20 15:55:38 UTC 2025 - 16.7K bytes - Viewed (0) -
architecture/standards/0002-avoid-using-java-serialization.md
# ADR-0002 - Avoid using Java serialization ## Date 2012-12-01 ## Context In Gradle we often need to serialize in-memory objects for caching, or to transmit them across process barriers, etc. Java serialization is one way to implement this, however, despite its simplicity of implementation, it has several drawbacks: - **Performance:** Java's built-in serialization mechanism is often slower compared to other serialization solutions.
