MinIO recommends using Linux operating system for production workloads.

- Objects must not have conflicting objects as parent objects, applications using this behavior should change their behavior and use non-conflicting unique keys, for example situations such as following conflicting key patterns are not supported.

When the **container** is started and running (started from a **container image**) it could create or change files, environment variables, etc. Those changes will exist only in that container, but would not persist in the underlying container image (would not be saved to disk).

Making and Submitting Changes
--------------

We accept Pull Requests via GitHub. The [developer mailing list][dev-ml-list] is the
main channel of communication for contributors.  
There are some guidelines which will make applying PRs easier for us:
+ Create a topic branch from where you want to base your work (this is usually the master branch).
  Push your changes to a topic branch in your fork of the repository.

   * {@link TypeVariableImpl#equals(Object)} is changed to no longer be equal to custom TypeVariable
   * implementations. As a result, we need to make sure our TypeVariable implementation respects
