# Request Body { #request-body }

When you need to send data from a client (let's say, a browser) to your API, you send it as a **request body**.

A **request** body is data sent by the client to your API. A **response** body is the data your API sends to the client.

#### Nested groups usage in LDAP/AD
If you are using Active directory with nested groups you have to add LDAP_MATCHING_RULE_IN_CHAIN: :1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941: to your query.

### 2. Run distributed MinIO

To start a distributed MinIO instance, you just need to pass drive locations as parameters to the minio server command. Then, you’ll need to run the same command on all the participating nodes.

**NOTE:**
