# Benchmarks { #benchmarks }

Benchmarks independentes da TechEmpower mostram as aplicações **FastAPI** rodando com Uvicorn como <a href="https://www.techempower.com/benchmarks/#section=test&runid=7464e520-0dc2-473d-bd34-dbdfd7e85911&hw=ph&test=query&l=zijzen-7" class="external-link" target="_blank">um dos frameworks Python mais rápidos disponíveis</a>, somente atrás dos próprios Starlette e Uvicorn (utilizados internamente pelo FastAPI).

Start the AlertManager and it listens on port `9093` by default. Make sure your webhook is up and listening for the alerts.

## Configure Prometheus to use AlertManager

Add below section to your `prometheus.yml`

* The translation doesn't seem to change the original content, for example with obvious additional documentation sections.
* The translation doesn't use different Markdown structures, for example adding HTML tags when the original didn't have them.
* The "admonition" sections, like `tip`, `info`, etc. are not changed or translated. For example:

The main tasks that you can do right now are:

Those two tasks are what **consume time the most**. That's the main work of maintaining FastAPI.
