### Server Memory { #server-memory }

For example, if your code loads a Machine Learning model with **1 GB in size**, when you run one process with your API, it will consume at least 1 GB of RAM. And if you start **4 processes** (4 workers), each will consume 1 GB of RAM. So in total, your API will consume **4 GB of RAM**.

We will create a FastAPI **dependency** with `yield` that will provide a new `Session` for each request. This is what ensures that we use a single session per request. 🤓

Then we create an `Annotated` dependency `SessionDep` to simplify the rest of the code that will use this dependency.

* Large payloads.

Only a single connection is ever made between two servers.
Likely this means that this connection will not be able to saturate network bandwidth.
Therefore, using this for large payloads will likely be slower than using a separate connection,
and other connections will be blocked while the large payload is being sent.

## Handlers & Routes

Handlers have a predefined Handler ID.

 * is {@link org.apache.maven.api.Node Node} and {@code pathScope == ""},
 * then the dependencies will be <i>collected</i>.
 * If the type is {@link org.apache.maven.api.Node Node} or
 * {@code List<}{@link org.apache.maven.api.Node Node}{@code >},
 * and {@code pathScope != ""}, the dependencies will be <i>flattened</i>.
 * Else the dependencies will be <i>resolved</i> and {@code pathScope} must be non empty,

FastAPI will know that the value of `q` is not required because of the default value `= None`.

Having `str | None` will allow your editor to give you better support and detect errors.

## Additional validation { #additional-validation }

configuration using e.g. the `mc admin config` commands you will need to adjust
your deployment.

Even though this change is backward compatible we do not expect that it affects
the vast majority of deployments in any negative way.

> Will an upgrade of an existing MinIO cluster impact the SLA of the cluster or will it even cause downtime?

Those parameters are what **FastAPI** will use to "solve" the dependency.

In both cases, it will have:

* An optional `q` query parameter that is a `str`.
* A `skip` query parameter that is an `int`, with a default of `0`.
* A `limit` query parameter that is an `int`, with a default of `100`.

In both cases the data will be converted, validated, documented on the OpenAPI schema, etc.

The dependencies will keep working as expected, and the **best part** is that the **type information will be preserved**, which means that your editor will be able to keep providing you with **autocompletion**, **inline errors**, etc. The same for other tools like `mypy`.
