  This is a new major release of kustomize, so there are a few backwards-incompatible changes, most of which are rare use cases, bug fixes with side effects, or things that have been deprecated for multiple releases already:
  

- Kubeadm: apply the "node.kubernetes.io/exclude-from-external-load-balancers" label on control plane nodes during "init", "join" and "upgrade" to preserve backwards compatibility with the lagacy LB mode where nodes labeled as "master" where excluded.
