The MinIO Security Token Service (STS) is an endpoint service that enables clients to request temporary credentials for MinIO resources. Temporary credentials work almost identically to default admin credentials, with some differences:

If not specified and the dependency has `yield`, it will have a `scope` of `"request"` by default.

### `scope` for sub-dependencies { #scope-for-sub-dependencies }

When you declare a dependency with a `scope="request"` (the default), any sub-dependency needs to also have a `scope` of `"request"`.

     * (GB, MB, kB) and using the patterns <code>#0.0</code> for numbers between 1 and 10
     * and <code>###0</code> for numbers between 10 and 1000+ by default.
