A future version of Go may change the defaults to

Go 1.20 introduced automatic seeding of the

Two new interfaces, [TextAppender] and [BinaryAppender], have been
introduced to append the textual or binary representation of an object
to a byte slice. These interfaces provide the same functionality as
[TextMarshaler] and [BinaryMarshaler], but instead of allocating a new slice

This required the Kotlin DSL to add special integration to work with Groovy closures.
This has also forced plugins written in languages other than Groovy to use Groovy types for some APIs.

When the Kotlin DSL was introduced, we made an effort to add non-Groovy equivalents for all APIs.
This has been mostly done, but there remain a few holdouts (fixing these is out of scope).

    This regression was introduced in OkHttp 4.3.0.
 *  Fix: Don't crash with an `IllegalArgumentException` when using custom trust managers on
    Android 10. Android uses reflection to look up a magic `checkServerTrusted()` method and we
    didn't have it.
 *  Fix: Explicitly specify the remote server name when making HTTPS connections on Android 5. In

 *  Breaking: Use `kotlin.time.Duration` in APIs like `OkHttpClient.Builder.callTimeout()`. This
    update also drops support for the `DurationUnit` functions introduced in earlier alpha releases
    of OkHttp 5.

 *  Breaking: Reorder the parameters in the Cache constructor that was introduced in 5.0.0-alpha.3.

 *  New: `Request.Builder.cacheUrlOverride()` customizes the cache key used for a request. This can
