## Installing the Chart

To install the chart with the release name `istio-base`:

kubectl create namespace istio-system
helm install istio-base istio/base -n istio-system
```

When referring to the remote machine, it's common to call it **server**, but also **machine**, **VM** (virtual machine), **node**. Those all refer to some type of remote machine, normally running Linux, where you run programs.

## Install the Server Program

When you install FastAPI, it comes with a production server, Uvicorn, and you can start it with the `fastapi run` command.

But you can also install an ASGI server manually:

### Integration Tests

Launch Fess Server and run the following command:

    $ mvn test -P integrationTests -Dtest.fess.url="http://localhost:8080" -Dtest.search_engine.url="http://localhost:9201"

When a **container** is started, it will run that command/program (although you can override it and make it run a different command/program).

A container is running as long as the **main process** (command or program) is running.

CRs at this layer, so no merge is performed in this step.

## CLI

The CLI `mesh` command is implemented in the [cmd/mesh](../operator/cmd/mesh/)
subdirectory as a Cobra command with the following subcommands:

#   Note: if you interrupt a bazel command on docker (ctrl-c), you
