## Auto Encryption

Auto-Encryption is useful when MinIO administrator wants to ensure that all data stored on MinIO is encrypted at rest.

### Using `mc encrypt` (recommended)

istioctl manifest generate > 1.yaml

The profile dump sub-command supports a couple of useful flags:

- `config-path`: select the root for the configuration subtree you want to see e.g. just show Pilot:

istioctl profile dump --config-path components.pilot
```

In 12 drive example above, with MinIO server running in the default configuration, you can lose any of the six drives and still reconstruct the data reliably from the remaining drives.

## Why is Erasure Code useful?

MockResponse can be used to simulate a slow network. This is useful for

This is based on RFC 4253, section 6.4, but with hmac-md5 variants removed because they have 
reached the end of their useful life.

OkHttp Android

* Validate that there is an `item_id` in the path for `GET` and `PUT` requests.
* Validate that the `item_id` is of type `int` for `GET` and `PUT` requests.
    * If it is not, the client will see a useful, clear error.
* Check if there is an optional query parameter named `q` (as in `http://127.0.0.1:8000/items/foo?q=somequery`) for `GET` requests.
    * As the `q` parameter is declared with `= None`, it is optional.
