    - copies `istio-cni` and `istio-iptables` to `/opt/cni/bin`

This document explains how to setup Prometheus and configure it to scrape data from MinIO servers.

## Prerequisites

To get started with MinIO, refer [MinIO QuickStart Document](https://min.io/docs/minio/linux/index.html#quickstart-for-linux).
Follow below steps to get started with MinIO monitoring using Prometheus.

### 1. Download Prometheus

## Installing the Chart

To install the chart with the release name `istio-ingressgateway`:

## Uninstalling the Chart

To uninstall/delete the `istio-ingressgateway` deployment:

### Allow port access for Firewalls

By default MinIO uses the port 9000 to listen for incoming connections. If your platform blocks the port by default, you may need to enable access to the port.

### ufw

For hosts with ufw enabled (Debian based distros), you can use `ufw` command to allow traffic to specific ports. Use below command to allow access to port 9000

```sh
ufw allow 9000
```

Note: each component can be installed in parallel with an existing Istio 1.0 or 1.1 installation in
`istio-system`. The new components will not interfere with existing apps, but can interoperate,
and it is possible to gradually move apps from Istio 1.0/1.1 to the new environments and
across environments ( for example canary -> prod )
