### 4.1 Monitoring transition events

Optionally you can also collect resource metrics.

### 4. Update `scrape_configs` section in prometheus.yml

To authorize every scrape request, copy and paste the generated `scrape_configs` section in the prometheus.yml and restart the Prometheus service.

WORM on a bucket is enabled by setting object lock configuration. This configuration is applied to all the objects in the bucket. Below is an example to set `Governance` mode and one day retention time on `mybucket`.

awscli s3api put-object-lock-configuration --bucket mybucket --object-lock-configuration 'ObjectLockEnabled=\"Enabled\",Rule={DefaultRetention={Mode=\"GOVERNANCE\",Days=1}}'

### Set object lock

The additional resource specific metrics which include additional go metrics or process metrics are exposed at
`<Address for MinIO Node>/minio/v2/metrics/resource`.

The drives should all be of approximately the same size.
