MinIO supports persistent event store. The persistent store will backup events if MySQL connection goes offline and then replays the stored events when the broken connection comes back up. The event store can be configured by setting a directory path in `queue_dir` field, and the maximum number of events, which can be stored in a `queue_dir`, in `queue_limit` field. ## Prerequisites

### Homebrew (recommended)

Run the following command to install the latest stable MinIO package using [Homebrew](https://brew.sh/). Replace ``/data`` with the path to the drive or directory in which you want MinIO to store data.

minio server /data

## Auto Encryption

Auto-Encryption is useful when MinIO administrator wants to ensure that all data stored on MinIO is encrypted at rest.

### Using `mc encrypt` (recommended)

            --set global.istioNamespace=istio-master

### Gateways

A cluster may use multiple Gateways, each with a different load balancer IP, domains and certificates.

Since the domain certificates are stored in the gateway namespace, it is recommended to keep each
gateway in a dedicated namespace and restrict access.

For large-scale gateways it is optionally possible to use a dedicated pilot in the gateway namespace.

If you have ktlint errors, you can automatically fix them by running `mvn com.github.gantsign.maven:ktlint-maven-plugin:1.1.1:format`.

## How the configuration works

We use Kotlin portable DSL to store TeamCity configuration, which means you can easily create a new pipeline
based on a specific branch. Currently, we have two pipelines: `master` and `release`, but you can easily create
and test another isolated pipeline from any branch.
