However, this means that STS tokens signed previously by root credentials will no longer be valid upon upgrading to the latest version with this change. Please re-generate them as you usually do. Additionally, if site replication is ever removed - the STS tokens will become invalid, regenerate them as you usually do....

The above example uses a self-signed certificate. This is convenient for testing but not
representative of real-world HTTPS deployment. To get closer to that we can use `HeldCertificate`
to generate a trusted root certificate, an intermediate certificate, and a server certificate.
We use `certificateAuthority(int)` to create certificates that can sign other certificates. The

        - If ambient, sets up the ambient logic.

- `istio-iptables`
    - sets up iptables to redirect a list of ports to the port envoy will listen
    - shared code with istio-init container
    - it will generate an iptables-save config, based on annotations/labels and other settings, and apply it.

### CmdAdd Sidecar Workflow

is configured to expose metrics without authentication, you don't need to use `mc` to generate prometheus config. You can skip reading further and move to 3.2 section.

The Prometheus endpoint in MinIO requires authentication by default. Prometheus supports a bearer token approach to authenticate prometheus scrape requests, override the default Prometheus config with the one generated using mc. To generate a Prometheus config for an alias, use [mc](https://min.io/docs/minio/linux/reference...

## 2. Create Kubernetes secret

[Kubernetes secrets](https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/configuration/secret) are intended to hold sensitive information.

### Installing the Chart

Install this chart using:

The command deploys MinIO on the Kubernetes cluster in the default configuration. The [configuration](#configuration) section lists the parameters that can be configured during installation.

You can see these sources for the compiled-in profiles and charts in the repo under `manifests/`. These profiles and charts are also included in the Istio release tar.
