- Delete one/some master keys. From a security standpoint, this is equal to erasing all SSE-S3 encrypted objects protected by these master keys. All these objects are lost forever as they cannot be decrypted. Especially deleting all master keys at the KMS is equivalent to secure erasing all SSE-S3 encrypted objects.

MinIO needs a persistent volume to store configuration and application data. For testing purposes, you can launch MinIO by simply passing a directory (`/data` in the example below). Existing object replication as detailed [here](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/storage/replicating-existing-objects-between-s3-buckets/) can be enabled by passing `existing-objects` as a value to `--replicate` flag while adding or editing a replication rule.
