!!! warning You can declare multiple `File` and `Form` parameters in a *path operation*, but you can't also declare `Body` fields that you expect to receive as JSON, as the request will have the body encoded using `multipart/form-data` instead of `application/json`. This is not a limitation of **FastAPI**, it's part of the HTTP protocol. ## Recap

docs/en/docs/advanced/testing-dependencies.md
## Overriding dependencies during testing There are some scenarios where you might want to override a dependency during testing. You don't want the original dependency to run (nor any of the sub-dependencies it might have). Instead, you want to provide a different dependency that will be used only during tests (possibly only some specific tests), and will provide a value that can be used where the value of the original dependency was used.

automatically cancel the request and send the client an error. If `auto_error` is set to `False`, when the query parameter is not available, instead of erroring out, the dependency result will be `None`. This is useful when you want to have optional authentication.

for an OAuth2 password flow. The OAuth2 specification dictates that for a password flow the data should be collected using form data (instead of JSON) and that it should have the specific fields `username` and `password`.
