But for now, let's check these important **conceptual ideas**. These concepts also apply to any other type of web API. 💡

## Security - HTTPS

In the [previous chapter about HTTPS](https.md){.internal-link target=_blank} we learned about how HTTPS provides encryption for your API.

The idea is to automate the acquisition and renewal of these certificates so that you can have **secure HTTPS, for free, forever**.

## HTTPS for Developers

Here's an example of how an HTTPS API could look like, step by step, paying attention mainly to the ideas important for developers.

### Domain Name

This can be used as a quick shortcut if you have only one Pydantic model and want to remove some data from the output.

    But it is still recommended to use the ideas above, using multiple classes, instead of these parameters.

Using these ideas, JWT can be used for way more sophisticated scenarios.

In those cases, several of those entities could have the same ID, let's say `foo` (a user `foo`, a car `foo`, and a blog post `foo`).

    These are very technical details about the standards **JSON Schema** and **OpenAPI**.

    If the ideas above already work for you, that might be enough, and you probably don't need these details, feel free to skip them.

Before OpenAPI 3.1.0, OpenAPI used an older and modified version of **JSON Schema**.

The most common way to do it is to have a file `requirements.txt` with the package names and their versions, one per line.

You would of course use the same ideas you read in [About FastAPI versions](versions.md){.internal-link target=_blank} to set the ranges of versions.

For example, your `requirements.txt` could look like:
