### Check the docs UI But here's the fun part. ✨ The "official" way to access the app would be through the proxy with the path prefix that we defined. So, as we would expect, if you try the docs UI served by Uvicorn directly, without the path prefix in the URL, it won't work, because it expects to be accessed through the proxy. You can check it at http://127.0.0.1:8000/docs:

docs/en/docs/advanced/security/http-basic-auth.md
# HTTP Basic Auth For the simplest cases, you can use HTTP Basic Auth. In HTTP Basic Auth, the application expects a header that contains a username and a password. If it doesn't receive it, it returns an HTTP 401 "Unauthorized" error. And returns a header `WWW-Authenticate` with a value of `Basic`, and an optional `realm` parameter. That tells the browser to show the integrated prompt for a username and password.

docs/en/docs/tutorial/dependencies/index.md
You can think of it as a *path operation function* without the "decorator" (without the `@app.get("/some-path")`). And it can return anything you want. In this case, this dependency expects: * An optional query parameter `q` that is a `str`. * An optional query parameter `skip` that is an `int`, and by default is `0`. * An optional query parameter `limit` that is an `int`, and by default is `100`.
