versioning is designed to keep multiple versions of an object in one bucket. For example, you could store `spark.csv` (version `ede336f2`) and `spark.csv` (version `fae684da`) in a single bucket. Enable object lifecycle configuration on buckets to setup automatic deletion of objects after a specified number of days or a specified date.

## 1. Prerequisites

- Install MinIO - [MinIO Quickstart Guide](https://min.io/docs/minio/linux/index.html#quickstart-for-linux).

- Delete one/some master keys. From a security standpoint, this is equal to erasing all SSE-S3 encrypted objects protected by these master keys. All these objects are lost forever as they cannot be decrypted. Especially deleting all master keys at the KMS is equivalent to secure erasing all SSE-S3 encrypted objects.
