- **Pilot** - Responsible for configuring the proxies at runtime.

    - **Citadel** - Responsible for certificate issuance and rotation.

    - **Galley** - Responsible for validating, ingesting, aggregating, transforming and distributing config within Istio.

- **Operator** - The component provides user friendly options to operate the Istio service mesh.

The settings are the same for all components, so a user can configure pilot K8s settings in exactly the same, consistent
way as galley settings. Supported K8s settings currently include:

TensorFlow's official CI jobs run the scripts in this folder. Our internal CI
system, Kokoro, schedules our CI jobs by combining a build script with a file
from the `envs` directory that is filled with configuration options:

-   Nightly jobs (Run nightly on the `nightly` branch)
    -   Uses `wheel.sh`, `libtensorflow.sh`, `code_check_full.sh`
-   Continuous jobs (Run on every GitHub commit)
    -   Uses `pycpp.sh`
