docs/en/docs/history-design-future.md
Here's a little bit of that history. ## Alternatives I have been creating APIs with complex requirements for several years (Machine Learning, distributed systems, asynchronous jobs, NoSQL databases, etc), leading several teams of developers. As part of that, I needed to investigate, test and use many alternatives. The history of **FastAPI** is in great part the history of its predecessors.

architecture-standards/0001-use-architectural-decision-records.md
* To explain *rejected solutions*, for now and future development, in case they are proposed again. ADRs can be written by any team. Like code, they should be reviewed by any other relevant teams. The goal is not to *own* a decision, but to *share* it with other teams, and improve the build tool together. ### Format The format for ADR should follow this template: ```markdown # ADR-000X - Title ## Date 20YY-MM-DD

apps may target different 'environments' which contain different instances and variants of Istio. - Better security: separate Istio components reside in different namespaces, allowing different teams or roles to manage different parts of Istio. For example, a security team would maintain the root CA and policy, a telemetry team may only have access to Prometheus,

This means that you can send only the data that you want to update, leaving the rest intact. !!! Note `PATCH` is less commonly used and known than `PUT`. And many teams use only `PUT`, even for partial updates. You are **free** to use them however you want, **FastAPI** doesn't impose any restrictions. But this guide shows you, more or less, how they are intended to be used.
