How to contribute

Thank you so much for wanting to contribute to Guava! Here are a few important
things you should know about contributing:

1.  API changes require discussion, use cases, etc. Code comes later.
2.  Pull requests are great for small fixes for bugs, documentation, etc.
3.  Pull requests are not merged directly into the master branch.
4.  Code contributions require signing a Google CLA.

API changes
-----------

code is a great way to give something back to the open source community. Before
you dig right into the code, there are a few guidelines that we need
contributors to follow so that we can have a chance of keeping on top of
things.

### Submitting Your Change

After you submit your pull request, a Gradle developer will review it. It is normal for this to take several iterations, so don't get discouraged by change requests. They ensure the high quality that we all enjoy.

If you need to check on [CI](http://builds.gradle.org/) status as an external contributor, you can click "Log in as guest".

If you've found a bug, please contribute a failing test case so we can study and fix it.

If you have a new feature idea, please build it in an external library. There are
[many libraries][works_with_okhttp] that sit on top or hook in via existing APIs. If you build
something that integrates with OkHttp, tell us so that we can link it!
