Native Image Tests
==================

This executes OkHttp's test suite inside a Graalvm image.

Build the Native Image
----------------------

Compile the classes and metadata into a Graalvm native image.

```
./gradlew --info native-image-tests:nativeImage
```

Execute
-------

The native image runs JUnit 5 tests in the project.

GraalVM Native Image
--------------------

Building your native images with Graal https://www.graalvm.org/ should work automatically.
This is not currently in a final released version, so `5.0.0-alpha.2` should be used.

# **Disaggregated HDP Spark and Hive with MinIO**

## **1. Cloud-native Architecture**

Kubernetes manages stateless Spark and Hive containers elastically on the compute nodes. Spark has native scheduler integration with Kubernetes. Hive, for legacy reasons, uses YARN scheduler on top of Kubernetes.

MinIO is a high performance distributed object storage server, designed for large-scale private cloud infrastructure. MinIO is designed in a cloud-native manner to scale sustainably in multi-tenant environments. Orchestration platforms like Kubernetes provide perfect cloud-native environment to deploy and scale MinIO.

## MinIO Deployment on Kubernetes

There are multiple options to deploy MinIO on Kubernetes:

- Continue with the backup job creation.  On the Summary screen, check the Run the Job when I click Finish checkbox and click the Finish button. The backup job will start immediately.  This will create an Active Full backup of the VMs within the backup job.

- Since we selected Copy mode when creating the SOBR, the backup will be copied to the capacity tier as soon as it is created on the performance tier.

keep_alive_interval  (duration)  keep-alive interval for MQTT connections in s,m,h,d
reconnect_interval   (duration)  reconnect interval for MQTT connections in s,m,h,d
queue_dir            (path)      staging dir for undelivered messages e.g. '/home/events'

MinIO server allows to throttle incoming requests:

- limit the number of active requests allowed across the cluster
- limit the wait duration for each request in the queue

These values are enabled using server's configuration or environment variables.
