The ambient CNI agent is the only place where ambient network config and pod redirection machinery happens.

## Container Installation

Use the following commands to run a standalone MinIO server as a container.

Standalone MinIO servers are best suited for early development and evaluation. Certain features such as versioning, object locking, and bucket replication

[operator API](https://github.com/istio/api/blob/master/operator/v1alpha1/operator.proto).
The settings are the same for all components, so a user can configure pilot K8s settings in exactly the same, consistent
way as galley settings. Supported K8s settings currently include:

- [resources](https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/configuration/manage-compute-resources-container/#resource-requests-and-limits-of-pod-and-container)

    - **Pilot** - Responsible for configuring the proxies at runtime.

    - **Citadel** - Responsible for certificate issuance and rotation.

    - **Galley** - Responsible for validating, ingesting, aggregating, transforming and distributing config within Istio.

- **Operator** - The component provides user friendly options to operate the Istio service mesh.
