If you run it and go to <a href="http://localhost:8000/v1/" class="external-link" target="_blank">http://localhost:8000/v1/</a> you will see the response from Flask: ```txt Hello, World from Flask! ``` And if you go to <a href="http://localhost:8000/v2" class="external-link" target="_blank">http://localhost:8000/v2</a> you will see the response from FastAPI: ```JSON { "message": "Hello World"

``` </div> then the internal variable `__name__` in your file, created automatically by Python, will have as value the string `"__main__"`. So, the section: ```Python uvicorn.run(app, host="0.0.0.0", port=8000) ``` will run. --- This won't happen if you import that module (file). So, if you have another file `importer.py` with: ```Python from myapp import app # Some more code ```
docs/en/docs/advanced/generate-clients.md
### Hey API { #hey-api } Once we have a FastAPI app with the models, we can use Hey API to generate a TypeScript client. The fastest way to do that is via npx. ```sh npx @hey-api/openapi-ts -i http://localhost:8000/openapi.json -o src/client ``` This will generate a TypeScript SDK in `./src/client`.
docs/en/docs/advanced/behind-a-proxy.md
If the client tries to go to `/items`, by default, it would be redirected to `/items/`. But before setting the *CLI Option* `--forwarded-allow-ips` it could redirect to `http://localhost:8000/items/`. But maybe your application is hosted at `https://mysuperapp.com`, and the redirection should be to `https://mysuperapp.com/items/`.
