## EventListener events

Cache Events are exposed via the EventListener API.  Typical scenarios are below.

### Cache Hit

In the ideal scenario the cache can fulfill the request without any conditional call to the network.

Requirements may be added, updated, and removed with 'go get'.
The vendor directory may be updated with 'go mod vendor'.
Tree inconsistencies are reported by 'go test cmd/internal/moddeps'.
A typical sequence might be:

    go test cmd/internal/moddeps

Use caution when passing '-u' to 'go get'. The '-u' flag updates

The modules are arranged into several different "Gradle platforms".
A Gradle platform is a logical distribution that provides support for a specific kind of automation.
A typical platform builds on other platforms in order to add more capabilities, for example, to add support for a particular language.
