Note that ExistingObjectReplication needs to be enabled in the config via `mc replicate [add|edit]` by passing `existing-objects` as one of the values to `--replicate` flag. Only those objects meeting replication rules and having existing object replication enabled will be re-synced.

# Testing { #testing }

Thanks to <a href="https://www.starlette.io/testclient/" class="external-link" target="_blank">Starlette</a>, testing **FastAPI** applications is easy and enjoyable.

It is based on <a href="https://www.python-httpx.org" class="external-link" target="_blank">HTTPX</a>, which in turn is designed based on Requests, so it's very familiar and intuitive.

you dig right into the code, there are a few guidelines that we need
contributors to follow so that we can have a chance of keeping on top of
things.

Some of the ideas are documented in the [Maven Wiki][maven-wiki]
which might be interesting to read and for further discussion.

# Testing WebSockets { #testing-websockets }

You can use the same `TestClient` to test WebSockets.
