# Gradle platform architecture

Gradle is arranged into coarse-grained components called "architecture modules" and "platforms".
See [ADR4](standards/0004-use-a-platform-architecture.md) for a definition of these terms.

The diagram below shows the current set of architecture modules and platforms:

If there is an existing translation and its Mermaid diagram is in sync with the Mermaid diagram in the English source, except a few translated words, then use the Mermaid diagram of the existing translation. ## Execution of dependencies with `yield` { #execution-of-dependencies-with-yield }
