# Policy on AI-Assisted Contributions to the Gradle Build Tool

We use AI tools daily and welcome AI-assisted contributions—provided the human behind them meets the standards below.

## Why this policy exists

There is a fundamental **asymmetry** between submitting a contribution and reviewing one: AI tools make it easy to generate and submit large amounts of code, but they do not make it equally faster for us to review it.

Apache Maven is a software project management and comprehension tool. Based on
the concept of a project object model (POM), Maven can manage a project's
build, reporting and documentation from a central piece of information.

    *   Added support for `tflite_convert` command line tool in 2.0.
    *   Post-training quantization tool supports quantizing weights shared by
        multiple operations. The models made with versions of this tool will use
        INT8 types for weights and will only be executable interpreters from
        this version onwards.
    *   Post-training quantization tool supports fp16 weights and GPU delegate

Because `Annotated` is **standard Python**, you still get all the **benefits** from editors and tools, like **autocompletion**, **inline errors**, etc.

* If the PR is for a direct dependency, so, Dependabot is modifying `pyproject.toml` in the main dependencies, **don't merge it**. 😱 Let me check it first. There's a good chance that some additional tweaks or updates are needed.
