There are cases where you want to tell your API **users** that your app could call *their* app (sending a request) with some data, normally to **notify** of some type of **event**.

This means that instead of the normal process of your users sending requests to your API, it's **your API** (or your app) that could **send requests to their system** (to their API, their app).

This is normally called a **webhook**.

## Webhooks steps { #webhooks-steps }

 * beyond the standard ones provided by Maven (like jar, war, pom, etc.). Types define how artifacts

### Ask to close { #ask-to-close }

If they reply, there's a high chance you would have solved their problem, congrats, **you're a hero**! 🦸

* Now, if that solved their problem, you can ask them to:

- User provides their AD/LDAP username and password to the STS API.
- MinIO looks up the user's information (specifically the user's Distinguished Name) in the LDAP server.

     * The returned list of versions is only dependent on the configured repositories and their contents.
     * The supplied request may also refer to a single concrete version rather than a version range.
     * In this case though, the result contains simply the (parsed) input version, regardless of the
     * repositories and their contents.
     *

# Sub Applications - Mounts { #sub-applications-mounts }

If you need to have two independent FastAPI applications, with their own independent OpenAPI and their own docs UIs, you can have a main app and "mount" one (or more) sub-application(s).
